Every journey is planned around your dates, pace and interests — not adapted from a fixed package.
A Trusted Local Network
Not a directory. Every guide, driver and stay on the route is someone we'd trust with our own family.
Seamlessly Arranged
Routes, timing, stays and trusted local guides — every piece in place before you go.

WellCo Travel is a private travel design studio for Slovenia, Croatia and Italy — from a single day at Lake Bled to two weeks tracing the coast, the Alps and everything between. No fixed packages, no set groups — every route is built around the places worth seeing and handed to local guides who know every back road and side street.
We don't sell seats on a bus. We design the journey, then step back and let people who actually live there show you around. Slovenia is where we started — Croatia and Italy followed, because the best routes rarely stop at a border. This is travel design, not a tour catalogue.
Multi-Day Journeys: Signature Routes, Built to Be Yours
Four proven routes across Slovenia, Croatia and Italy — each one a starting point, not a fixed script. Dates, pace and stops shift to fit you; the road itself stays worth taking.
Classic Slovenia: The Essential Journey
Your first time in Slovenia, done properly. Lake Bled, Ljubljana, Postojna Cave, the Adriatic coast, and the country's thermal resorts.
For those who want the view, not the postcard. From the alpine valleys of Logarska and Soča to the UNESCO-listed Škocjan Caves, the vineyards of Goriška Brda, and the medieval harbour of Piran.
Two coastlines, two UNESCO landscapes, one journey. From Ljubljana and the Slovenian Adriatic into Central Croatia and Istria — Plitvice Lakes, Rovinj, Pula, and the quiet inlets of Lim Fjord.
From Lake Bled to the Soča Valley, Postojna Cave to the coast — a full day out, planned down to pickup and pace, with a local guide who knows the road better than any map.
Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle: Private Day Trip
Europe's most visited cave — and the world's largest cave castle, ten minutes apart. See both in a single day.
New ways to explore Slovenia and its neighbors, taking shape now.

Wellness Journeys
Thermal waters, forest air, and the slower side of Slovenia. Days built for stepping back from the noise of city life — with just as much of the country still there to discover, unhurried.
Ski Journeys
The Alps in winter — crisp air, snow-dusted peaks, and villages that still feel like villages. A different kind of Slovenia, best seen with snow on the ground.
How It Works
Somewhere between the mountains and the coast, there's a version of the trip that's entirely yours. Here's how we build it.
Tell Us What You're After
Dates, interests, must-sees — a short conversation is all it takes to get started.
Get Your Route
A full proposed journey, tailored to what you told us — routes, stays and pricing, no obligation.
We refine together
Swap a stop, add a day, slow down where it counts — we go back and forth until the route is exactly right.
Go, Fully Arranged
Your route is locked in, your local guides are briefed, and every detail is handled before you land.
The biggest surprise for us was the Soča Valley and Lake Bohinj — the Soča River looks unreal in real life. It felt like the people at Wellco truly know the country, not just the typical tourist spots. The service is just perfect.
Slovenia turned out to be far more diverse than I expected — I now understand why it deserves a trip of its own. WellCo's Slovenia + Croatia combination was almost perfect: excellent guides who honestly felt like new friends, and not a single disappointing day.
They arranged the most packed two-day itinerary — Lake Bled, Bohinj and Škofja Loka in Slovenia, plus Friuli in Italy. The guides are true professionals, and I felt so much joy from every conversation. Heartfelt thanks to Natalie and everyone at WellCo who helped along the way.
We used this company twice during our time in Slovenia. We were very happy with our guide — professional, composed, and a wonderful person to travel with. We visited Trieste and Graz, and he knew a great deal about both, sharing fascinating details everywhere we went. We'd absolutely use this company again — highly recommend.
